Digitalization and Dismantling Engineering Services of Power Plant
The energy sector in Turkey is going through a difficult period because the USD rate is above the expected levels, the suppressed electricity and natural gas tariffs, cross-subsidy mechanism, and the low market prices due to the excess supply. Thus, the power plant investors tend to relocate their power plants to the countries with urgent power needs, such as Uzbekistan, Africa, Iran, Kazakhstan, etc.
Turkey's largest publicly traded independent energy producer, our customer, turns to a global energy company with power plants in Turkey and Africa, and Northern Cyprus. In its globalization strategy, the company is planning to relocate its Natural Gas Combined Cycle Plant from Turkey to Tashkent/ Uzbekistan.
The scope of the contract includes the preparation of as-built design documentation (3D BIM Model) based on 3D laser scanning, photogrammetric imaging, and control of the as-built condition. Scope of delivery includes as follows:
- Laser scanning
- Post-processing
- 3D Modelling
- Document integration and isometrics
- PI&Ds as-built
- Extraction of material lists (MTO)
- Cutting Plan (before dismantling and during dismantling)
- Tagging and labeling
- Preparation of technical specs of materials that cannot be used after dismantling
