ESMA GULTEN
Co-Founder & CEO

Esma Gulten, born in Tekirdag in the year of 1982, graduated from Istanbul Technical University Industrial Engineering Department of Business Administration Faculty in 2005 and then Mechanical Engineering Department of the same university in 2006 as her double-major. Ms. Gulten involved in several roles in the Information Technology and Human Resources departments in Uzel Holding during period of her university life. After graduating, Ms. Gulten began to her professional life in Sabancı Holding Human Resources Department as a result of a good success in Young Talent Employment Program. After being involved in Siemens Turkey in 2007, she had the opportunity to experience in several areas; such as Strategy Planning, Business Development, Business Excellence, Partner Management, Portfolio and Technology Management during her 8-year career in Siemens. Ms. Gulten resigned from Siemens Turkey Energy Management Division Strategy and Business Development Manager role in the end of 2014 and began to her career in Gizil Enerji.

Ms. Gulten, actively involved in Social Projects, has two children.

ALI UTKU CAN
Co-Founder & COO

Ali Utku Can, born in Canakkale in the year of 1982, graduated from Istanbul Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Faculty in 2005 and then Electrical Engineering Department of the same university as his double-major. After his undergraduate degrees, he successfully completed his master's degree in the field of Automatic Control and received the title of Msc. Engineer. Mr. Can involved in Research and Development (R&D) department in Arcelik during period of his university life. After graduating, Mr. Can began to his professional life in Tupras Refinery as a result of a good success in Young Talent Employment Program of Koc Holding. After being involved in Tupras Refinery in 2006, he had the opportunity to experience in multi-disciplinary international projects; such as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation during his 7-year career in Tupras. Resid Upgrading Project (2009-2013), Gasoline Specifications Improvement Project (2007-2009), Truck Loading Station and Oxygenate Tanks and Transfer Systems (2007-2009) and Diesel Hydro Treating Reformer Project (2003-2007) were the most important projects he actively took part. Mr. Can resigned from Tupras Refinery in the beginning of 2013 and began to his career in Gizil Enerji.

Mr. Can, actively interested in sailing, has two children.

FATIME AGGEZ
Financial and Administrative Manager

Fatime AGGEZ, born in 1977 in Erzincan, completed her primary and secondary education in Erzincan. She started at the Management Department of Karadeniz Technical University in 1995, which she graduated in 1997. In 2001, she graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Business Administration too. She developed her knowledge from the beginning of her business life with various vocational courses she attended in the UK.

She started her professional career at Ucel Oto Makas in July 1999 and continued as an accounting and finance specialist at Aksay Shipping Company, an international company. When she was at that company, she received his financial consultancy certificate.

She left this position in 2013 and continued at Chem-Ko B.V as Finance and Accounting Manager for 3 years. She was appointed as finance director in Teknia Group, a Spanish company in 2017. In August 2018, AGGEZ resigned and in April 2019 she was appointed as the Financial and Administrative Manager of Gizil.

ANIL KARAMAHMUTOGLU
Accounting Manager

Anil Karamahmutoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1980 and completed her primary and secondary school in Istanbul. She started Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration in 1999, and she graduated in 2004.

She started her professional career as an intern at Dardanel Pazarlama A.S. Than switched to Dardanel Dis Ticaret A.S. Between 2001-2006, She worked as a Senior Accounting and Finance Specialist at Alfred H. Knight A.S. She took a Financial Advisory Certificate during her active work period and started as Accounting and Finance Manager at Teknomak Furniture Mak. Ltd. which is one of the industry leaders. She served her taxpayers in her own Financial Advisory office between 2013 and 2018.

She started to work as a Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist in Gizil in 2019 and was appointed as Accounting Manager in 2022.

She has one child.

SINEM SOLAK
Integrated Management Systems Manager

Sinem Solak, born in Bursa in the year of 1984 and graduated from Eskisehir Osmangazi University in 2006. She worked as the quality management representative of the plastic factory in Bursa for about 2 years. She worked as SİSBEL certification manager and management representative between 2008-2022. Solak is the lead auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 10002 management systems. In this context, she worked as a lead auditor/auditor in approximately 200 audits within the scope of TÜRKAK accreditation. In addition to auditing the management systems, she also took part in the creation of the document system of the organizations, the establishment of the management systems and the improvement of their processes. As a quality manager, she managed the establishment and execution of accreditation standards (ISO 17020, ISO 17021, ISO 17024). She is the lead auditor trainer for management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, ISO 10002, and also gave more than 100 certified Internal audit, basic and documentation training. Solak, as a B-class HSE expert, has 10 years of HSE expertise.

She is married and has two children.

BURHAN AKDOGAN
Legal Counselor

Burhan AKDOĞAN was born in Elazığ in 1984. He graduated from Near East University Faculty of Law in 2008. He completed legal internship to qualify as an attorney at law in 2010. He set up Nafi Law and Mediation Office with partners in 2011. While he was continuing Lawyer, he completed the mediation training and took mediation certificate in 2016. His assay named Application to International Legal Remedies and ECHR was published journel of law readings in 2012. He works in the fields of Company Law, Commercial Law, Labour and Social Security Law, Medical Law, Mediation. He is doing studies in the field of cinema and law.

Otherwise he actively takes part in civil society organizations and foundation, plays tennis.

ARASH KHAJEIM
Process Engineering Manager (acting)

Arash Khajeim, born in Tehran in the year of 1975, graduated from Azad Tehran Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Fluids in 2000 and. After his undergraduate degrees.  After graduating, Mr. Khajeim began to his professional life in different Oil and Gas consultant companies for 21 years up to know.

He had the opportunity to experience in multi-disciplinary international projects, such as mechanical, Piping Design and Mechanical design in boilers, pressure vessels and storage Tanks during his 21-year career in Oil and gas industries.

Mr. Khajeim joined to Gizil in 2020.

Mr. Khajeim, actively interested in riding bicycle, he has Three children.

ARASH KHAJEIM
Mechanical & Piping Engineering Manager

Arash Khajeim, born in Tehran in the year of 1975, graduated from Azad Tehran Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department of Mechanical Fluids in 2000 and. After his undergraduate degrees.  After graduating, Mr. Khajeim began to his professional life in different Oil and Gas consultant companies for 21 years up to know.

He had the opportunity to experience in multi-disciplinary international projects, such as mechanical, Piping Design and Mechanical design in boilers, pressure vessels and storage Tanks during his 21-year career in Oil and gas industries.

Mr. Khajeim joined to Gizil in 2020.

FARZAD ARDESHIRDIVANI
Instrumentation & Control Engineering Manager

Farzad Ardeshirdavani, born in Abadan (Iran) in the year of 1970, graduated from IAU University Electrical Engineering Department in 1995. 

After graduating, Mr. Ardeshirdavani began his professional life in OIEC Group in 1997 as an Instrument engineer in construction of a Gas compressor station for Rehabilitation of dead oil wells.

On 1998 he joined to PIDEC company as PMC of Para xylene plant of BIPC petrochemical.

On 1999 till 2009 and meanwhile 2017 till 2021 after being joined to Sazeh Consultants and its subsidiary Bamdej Tarh as joint venture of reputable companies like Udeh Gmbh, Snamprojetti, Linde, Sinopec, HFEC, Technip Benelux BV …. he had the opportunity as an instrument lead engineer to experience in multi-disciplinary EPC, EPCC and EPCCS, feasibility study projects such as production of Aromatic, Methanol, Styrene monomer, Urea granulation, Urea ammonia, gas refinery, Oil refinery ….  

In 2009 in order to monitor the flue gas of Tehran refinery he joined to study and revamp of flue gas monitoring project.

In 2013 he moved to Malaysia and started his new position in Lian Inc. as technical manager till 2016. 

in the September of 2021 began his career in Gizil.

Mr. Ardeshirdavani, actively interested in Archaeology and IOT. 

SELIM CEK
Electrical Engineering Manager

Selim Cek, born in Istanbul in the year of 1982, graduated from Sakarya University Electrical Engineering Department 2008 and then. After graduating, Mr. Cek began to his professional life in Industrial Design Company in Istanbul. Mr. Cek focused to power system analysis, automatic control Systems and renewable energy in his Professional carrier. Mr. Cek use professonally Etap, Pvsyst, Dialux and Eplan software.

SERDAR DOGANGUNES
Civil & Structure Engineering Manager

Serdar Dogngunes was born in 1985 in Ankara and graduated from Kocaeli University Civil Engineering Department in 2008. In 2009, he received his Master's Degree on Earthquake Engineering at Gebze Technical University.

In a long time as senior structural engineering and project manager, project planning, tender proposal studies, drawing processes, project organization, quality control according to standards, business plan preparation and project design follow-up, reinforced concrete-steel design, rough and fine construction at all levels of the application and responsibility found. Mr. Doğangüneş continued his career as a civil engineer until 2013-2014 in the same company.

At various times, he took part in American Embassy projects in countries such as Macedonia, Indonesia, Serbia and Iraq.

In 2014, he founded Mosproje, a design and application company. Continuing his active duty here until 2017, Dogangunes joined the Gizil team in 2018 as the Civil & Structure Engineering Manager after his job in Sigma Engineering as Project Manager.

Serdar Dogangunes is married and has a child. 

MUHAMMED MADAK
Digitalization Manager, IT & Technology Manager

Muhammed Madak is responsible for information technologies, reality capture, surveying, BIM, 3D smart modelling, VR/AR applications, and other software development activities as a Digitalization Manager. 

Muhammed has experience with laser scanning, photogrammetry, information systems, VR/AR applications, and unmanned/manned aerial vehicles specialized for photogrammetry/LiDAR applications. He was involved in a project that production of airborne laser scanner skilled advanced unmanned aerial vehicle in his earlier career as a project manager. He worked as a design engineer, lead engineer, and manager in Gizil on many projects in digital engineering, digital twin, and digitalization for OMV, Tupras, Petkim, Botas, Polisan, Shell, AKSA, and others. 

OZAN SENOGLU
Industrial Heating Solutions Manager

Ozan Senoğlu, born in Aksehir in the year of 1972, graduated from Middle East Technical University, Physics Department of Arts & Science Faculty in 1996. After graduating, Mr. Senoglu began to his professional life in Isbank IT Department as a software specialist and assigned as a project manager in this department until he moved to Electrical Heat Tracing Business with Raychem brand in 2006. He had several opportunities to experience in EHT parts of multi-disciplinary international projects with several positions during the second era of his 26 years career.

Mr. Senoglu, actively interested in playing string and woodwind instruments, cycling, and has a daughter.
